Senior officials of the Industries, Commerce, Investment and Skills Development Department comprising Director SPU, Mr. Abu Bakar Salman and Deputy Secretary (Commerce) Mr. Abubakar Zubair visited offices of the Commissioner Gujranwala and Deputy Commissioner Sialkot on January 18, 2024. Representatives of the Punjab Small Industries Corporation and the Punjab Information Technology Board accompanied. Purpose of the visit was to brief the respective offices and their field formations about various facets of the Business Facilitation Centre (BFC), specifically with reference to proper projection of BFC activities, enhancing quantum of applications and timely disposal of these applications as per law. Both offices have been requested to closely monitor performance of BFC in their respective district/division. During the visit, the representative of PITB facilitated the BFC staff at Sialkot and Gujranwala in application processing and other allied matters.
