STATUS: SLOW MOVING, ISSUES
• BOR approved the price of Rs. 2.0 Million per Kanal for identified 16-Kanals Land.
• Considering the price on the higher side, PSIC submitted the PC-I for revision. In the DDSC meeting held on 18.3.2021, it was decided that PSIC should approach BOR for the acquisition of land free of cost and rationalise the cost further, however, BOR rejected the request regarding provision of land free of cost vide letter dated 27.04.2021.
• Further, BOR reserved the already identified land for the construction of Rest house at Taunsa vide letter dated 27.4.21.
• DPAC meeting held on 12.08.2021. Case of transfer of newly identified land at the rate of Rs. 2.1 million per kanal submitted to BOR on 14.9.2021.
• PPAC meeting held on 21.12.2021 and minutes issued by BOR.
• On request of PSIC, revised PC-I cost of Rs. 223.395 Million approved by DDSC on 3.2.22.
• AA issued on 16.2.2022.
• Rs. 36.960 million payment of land made to District Administration Taunsa Sharif.
• Only one contractor submitted bid in first tendering process, thus making it non-responsive. Tender re-advertised on 12.08.2022 and this time no bid received.
• 2nd revised PC-I on new MRS rates approved by DDSC on 18.8.23
• Process for hiring of contractor for execution of civil works is under process.
• Advertisement for invitation of bids will be published by 20.09.2023.
