• PDWP approved the scheme on 7.1.22 at a cost of Rs. 2000 million.
• A.A. issued on 25.1.22.
• P&D Board and FD released funds on 5.8.22.
• Motor cycles have been procured. IT / Office equipment and furniture &fixture procured.
• Hiring of staff partially completed and PDU established. Hiring of remaining staff in process.
• Study of the industrial sectors completed
• Advertisement in the press for inviting loan applications floated on 10.03.2023 and 17.03.2023. 2nd Project Steering Committee meeting was held on 29.03.2023.Awareness and marketing of the scheme is under progress.
• 72 No. quotations have been received in the office of DG EPA out of which 37 quotations/ EMP/ SMP have been approved.
• 16 No. financial agreements have been signed with SMEs in 5 industrial sectors i,.e steel furnaces and rice husking mills. First target of DLI-7(DLR7-1) of PGDP achieved.
• DLR 7-2: 18 quotations from Lahore, Gujranwala, Sargodha and DGK were submitted to EPA for approval on 10.08.2023 against Steel Furnaces & steel rolling (Dry & Wet Scrubber), Rice husking (Paddy Drying with Dust control system), Leather (Solar Power Generation) and stone crusher (wet dust suppression system).
