The Consul General of Turkey met with Minister for Industries and Commerce Mr. S.M. Tanveer at the Secretariat of Industries & Commerce Department, Lahore. Secretary Industries & Commerce Mr. Ehsan Bhutta, Additional Secretary Housing, CEO FIEDMC and representatives of Turkish investment companies were also present during the meeting. The meeting dwelled upon enhancing avenues of bilateral trade between Turkey and Pakistan. The Minister for Industries urged the Turkish investors to invest in Punjab. He also assured to solve problems of existing Turkish investment companies on a priority basis.
The Secretary Industries & Commerce gave a briefing about the impending Business Facilitation Center which would facilitate domestic and foreign investors in Punjab. Complaints of domestic and foreign investors would be redressed immediately and 17 departments would provide all facilities to investors under one roof.
