PIEDMC Special economic zone committee has awarded the status of special zone enterprise to the 36 customers, who bought land in Quaid-e-Azam Business Park Sheikhpura, Vehari, Bhalwal and Rahim Yar khan Industrial Estates.
Special Zone enterprise status is awarded to different companies in Quaid e Azam Business Park Sheikhupura, Vehari, Bhalwal and Rahim Yar Khan Industrial Estates including Rumi Fabrics, Fabrizo, Petpak Films, Chromatics, Global Packaging Films, Starlet Innovations, Ajmer Foods, Back Packaging, AHS Pvt Ltd, Novatex, Poly Pak, Texo poly, Ishtiaq Steel, Urban Premier, High noon Laboratories and others. These companies are expected to bring in investments worth 90 billion and would also create thousands of new jobs.
Foreign ceramic company, Oreal Ceramics with an investment of $70 million started its production on 37 acres of land at Bhalwal Industrial Estate.
